Musk and Ramaswamy have described their plans to apply "advanced technology" (i.e., AI) at DOGE as a key enabler for identifying rulings to nullify them. That probably just means that the forward deployed SWEs will do AI engineering but it might hint at a desire to have more of a key competency (specializing AI to analyze regulations...)

Yes, I agree! I think there has been reporting that Musk is keen for DOGE to use Grok to analyze regulations and other govt documents.
